About the investor

Llaxta is a Peruvian Real Estate Construction company, dedicated to the industrial production of homes. In 2013, it developed its first project, the Las Piedras de Buenavista urbanization, in Los Aquijes, Ica, with the intention of satisfying the growing demand for housing in the area. This project already has more than 1000 houses sold and around 500 families living in the project.

Transaction summary

The Inmobiliaria Yaurilla SAC company, part of Llaxta Inmobiliaria y Constructora, was seeking financing for the development of a project that involves up to 20,000 homes in the city of Piura, called “Los Altos de Castilla”, framed in the Techo Propio Program. . For this reason, they hired UNE to advise them in the evaluation, structuring and negotiation of possible financing. The investment fund Volcom Capital of Chile provided financing for USD 10.5 MM, which will be operated through a trust that will be in charge of managing the project flows.
