Altra improves position in the logistics sector after joining Acoinsa

The Colombian private equity fund Altra Investments has acquired a majority stake in 70% of the share capital of Acoinsa and Gruas Acoinsa, a Peruvian company dedicated to cargo transportation management, for an amount of USD 30 MM. Une Asesores advises the seller. After the entry of Altra Investments, Acoinsa also strengthens its presence in specialized transportation. Today, the firm is among the two largest in the sector along with Stiglich Transportes, and in the short term it will seek to take leadership of the business.
